The aim of this study is to investigate by metaphor analysis that the perceptions of hotel employees who are upper, middle and lower level, about “tourism”, “peace” and “tourism and peace relationship”. For this aim, it tried to determine what does Southeastern Anatolia tourism mean for hotel employees in Southeastern that progress by means of peace environment from 2012 to 2015, how have tourism and peace been percieved and relationship between tourism and peace given the meaning by them. Sample of the study was three, four and five stars hotel employees in Batman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep and Mardin. In this context, it was asked the hotel employees to fill the gaps which are “tourism is just like….. because it is ………”, “peace is just like ……. because it is …..” and “tourism and peace relationship is just like …….because it is …….”. The metaphors for tourism and peace relationship come under the four conceptual categories which are economic, emotional, relational and holistic perceptions. Their perceptions mostly concentrated on relational and holistic categories. This situation reveals that the hotel employees percieved and given the meaning as a whole and complemantary to each other about “tourism and peace relationship”.
