1423984492 Investigate the Volume of Material Create Bushing in Friction Drilling of A7075-T651 and St 37 Alloys

Friction drilling is provided bushing shape to increase threading height and length of clamp. In this study, 4 mm in thicknesses, A7075-T651 aluminium and St 37 steel alloys were frictional drilled by using 8 mm in diameter HSS and 10 mm in diameter WC tools, respectively. The tools with hl=24 mm in cylindrical region length, 36o in conical angle, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000, 2400, 2800, 3200, 3600, 4000 and 4400 rpm spindle speeds, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mm/min feed rates were chosen. In study, the alteration in materials volumes, created washer and bushing shape investigated, separately, according to experimental parameters. In the process, it was accepted that there were any materials spreading in the surroundings. The volume of material, created washer and bushing, were determined in unit of mm3, separately. The alteration in the volume of ductile St 37 was smaller than brittle A7075-T651 according to the parameters.
