Globalization which aims a large economical market in common share comprises the societies who confirm its aims to its gain area and excludes the societies who do not confirm its aims. Meanwhile some ethnic groups are influences positive or negative from the impacts. Ethnicity defines subgroups who live in their original characteristics and original cultures in a society and ethnic groups also participate in cinema works and art works as they participate in all social components. Situation of ethnic groups in Turkey consists due to political situation and consists in Turkish Cinema as in poltical area and ethnic groups participate in cinema works due to political and social situation. Ethnic themes and ethnic characteristic were comparatively handled more freely in the beginning of Turkish cinema but ethnic themes became problem in the periods in when political power had prohibitionist and oppresivve policies in Turkey. Whereas cultures and languages of ethnic groups mostly reflected cinema in more free periods and problems of ethnic groups and also pressure on ethnic groups and cultures of ethnic groups were handled in cinema in some periods in Turkey. Friendship between Turkish people and ethnic groups or neighborship were handled in some films and difficulties in the lives of ethnic groups were also handled in some other films and problems of ethnic groups were directly handled in some films in Turkey. Some social groups protested the films which contained ethnic themes but ethnic groups in Turkey contributed development of democracy and civilization and also contibuted development of Turkish Cinema. Istanbul is the center of Turkish Cinema and comprises the most ethnic groups and Istanbul caused ethnic themes in cinema in Turkey. Development of cinema and having an international identity lead with relation between cinema and ethnicity in Turkey in where many ethnic groups live together.
