The living comminities in different geograpies constitute similar beliefs in
the face of fire. While fire was descareted only by some communities , it was divinised
by some communities as god.Agni is fire god of Hindus. It isaddressedapproximately
200 hymns in the Rgveda. He is son of power, master of house, berarer of
sacrifice. He has various births. He is the most important second god of Vedic era.
Fire has important place in Turk culture and mythology. In Shaman’s sacrifice, fire
is bearer of the sacrifice which is presented for god. Sacred domestic fireis rather old
belief in Turks comminties.. Rituels which are performed by bride in front of the domestic
fire and fire which is burnt in the ceremonies of enthronement is consideresd
mostsacred. Shortly fire, both Hindus and Turks, which represents similar beliefs
does not lose its importance in the past and present.
