1356120378 Simulation of Hodgkin-Huxley Neuron Model Based Neuron Dynamics with Matlab

In this paper, the Graphical User Interface (GUI) simulation of Action
Potential (AP) based on Hodgkin-Huxley (HH) neuron model, which has a prominent
place in theoretical neuroscience, is studied by using MATLAB. In the simulation, as
changing many model parameters, the effect of these changes on the form of AP
and dynamic model parameters can be displayed graphically. Temperature or the
intracellular and extracellular ionic concentrations variables can be changed and the
parameters related to these variables can be updated in accordance with biological
reality. The bio-availability of HH and similar model can be tested by this kind of
simulation studies or laboratory work required some experimental studies can be
realized easier and more quickly.
