1356038333 Design of Mux and Switch Based Real-Time Modulators in Wireless Communication Systems and Calculation of Bit Error Rate

Recently, wireless communication systems are communication systems that
increase their usage area. Depending on increase of this systems usage, modulator
design have came into prominence. BPSK (Binary Phase Shift Keying), which is one
of the binary modulation techniques, is used in wireless communication systems. In
this paper, output signals’ simulation results of designed BPSK modulators in two
different real time systems are represented. One of designed modulators is created
using MATLAB/Simulink. Other modulator is designed using FPGA compiler
Quartus II 9.1 sp2 programme. Designed modulator in FPGA compiler is created on
mux-based and according to case of transmitted data (1 or 0 cases) the data transfer
was realized. The modulator in MATLAB/Simulink was designed using switch
instead of mux. Also, in this paper bit error rate (BER) of BPSK modulation technique
is plotting using MATLAB programme.
